  • Researches food trends to develop new items and reformulate existing recipes.
  • Participates in ideation sessions within R&D and cross functional teams to develop new concepts
  • Develops and recommends shelf life studies for new and existing products in conjunction with QA
  • Serves as technical resource for R&D and extended team members
  • Serves as liaison for plant testing, drives commercialization process for assigned projects
  • Provides nutritional and financial evaluations of products using Genesis
  • Prepares statistical and narrative reports per customers’ requests
  • BS or BA or MS in food science or related field
  • Minimum three to five years in product development, bakery R&D preferred
